Finally, a recovery beverage that tastes great and has no artificial bad-tasting crap in it!! I mix with half almond milk and water. I was a bit skeptical because I'm not a big fan of honey but I'd say the flavor leans more toward a light vanilla/cinnamon/spice type flavor. It's SO good. Seriously if you've been looking for a recovery beverage that actually tastes good, you've found it. I just wish it came in bulk! Thank you for making a great tasting product for women! I love this recovery drink! I mix it with some almond milk and a few frozen strawberries to get a quick protein hit as soon as I finish my long work outs. I just wish Osmo made a larger tub of this as I go through it so fast - particularly during peak training times. Thank you for such a great product! (Posted on 1/19/15)

Best Recovery Drink!

Over the years, I have tried many recovery drinks and Osmo Acute Recovery far exceeds any previous product. I can actually tell the difference when using this product; when I Osmo Recovery immediately after my workouts, I am more prepared to begin the training for the next day. As a cyclist, my legs feel stronger and more powerful because I adequately re-fueled and replenished from the previous days activity. Whether I am in the gym or out on the bike, Osmo is a great way to help me perform at my best. The best part: it tastes great with just water! and it's dialed in for women's recovery. Take it within the first 15-20 minutes of the end of a ride, and you're golden. Mix with a BlenderBottle, the one with a built-in agitator, and some Almond Milk, and you get a goo calorie-and-nutrient-rich replacement drink, which will leave you satiated, so you won't overeat. Get this stuff. Seriously. I'm not an easy sell regarding any sort of powders, mixes, snake oils, etc., but this stuff works! I've been using it for about a year now. After hard workouts I have no appetite. Nada. Zero. As a result I was botching my recovery and subsequently already decreasing my work capacity for the next workout session. The Acute Recovery mix is easy to use, has a very light flavor and you can't mess it up. My favorite recipe: 12-16 oz of 2% milk, two scoops of Active Recovery mix, and just a smidge of Nestle Quik (I gotta have my chocolate!). In a pinch I've used just plain water. Like I said, you can't mess it up. You may want to invest in a good shaker/blender bottle. The mix can be a bit stubborn to mix in the milk or whatever liquid you like to use. Get it. Use it. I've had a bunch of different recovery drinks but none that I loved as much as this one! Other than the fact that it's specially made for women, and works wonders, it is so tasty! I mix it with almond milk and I could just drink it all day, that's ho good it is. (Posted on 6/12/14)
