What we do
We make hydration and nutrition products that help athletes of every type feel and perform their best. Our company was founded with the goal of empowering athletes to be their greatest, and the determination that drove us then still drives us to this day.
What we believe
There are countless reasons to love sports, but we’re most captivated by the endless determination to do better that every athlete possesses. We believe that athletes of every level can be truly great, and that each person deserves to feel great in the process.
Our goal is to empower athletes of every level and every sport to achieve individual greatness. We designed our hydration and nutrition products with peer-reviewed science and make them with wholesome, beneficial ingredients to fuel you while helping you feel great.
Where we came from
When racing triathlons and completing her master’s thesis in nutrition, Dr. Stacy Sims set out to find a better way to fuel endurance athletes. Based on research and field testing, Dr. Sims created hydration and recovery formulas that offer a better way to power athletes. Osmo products, created with Dr. Sims’ research, launched in 2012.
In 2013, we started our partnership with pro cyclist Peter Sagan. Peter cramped badly during a sweltering Stage 2 in the Amgen Tour of California, and drank Osmo before and during the next day. He won Stage 3. We’ve been proud to support Peter ever since, and in 2018, we became the official hydration sponsor of the entire Bora-Hansgrohe team.
Who we are
We are a small team living in the Bay Area. You can usually find us hiking with our dogs, going for a long lunch ride, or pitching our tents in the mountains.
