Susie Lozick

In 2016, Susie’s coworkers challenged her to sign up to run a half marathon. Unknowingly, completing this transformative event marked the beginnings of a journey and passion. Throughout the years of training and racing, the proverbial ‘casual runner’ has become more than a saying, it’s become an identity. Although running road marathons are still on her itinerary, her true running adoration can be found on the trails; especially within ultra-distance trail running.

Susie lives in Sierra Madre, California nestled in the foothills beneath the San Gabriel mountains. She is a High School Mathematics Teacher and co-ed cross country coach. Her dream vacation is a multi-day trip to the Swiss Alps and Italian Dolomites to explore the trails and enjoy the local culture.
