Claire Nelson is a distance runner who currently calls Reno, Nevada my home while she finishes my B.S. in Chemistry. Upon completing my B.S., she will be working on my application for medical school. Hailing from from Eagle River, Alaska Claire began running at a young age as a form of training for cross country skiing. In high school, she became more passionate about running and the process behind it.

When finishing high school, Claire felt like she had a lot of unfinished business in the sport so she went on to run cross country and track at the University of Nevada, Reno. Running and spending time outside has since become the thing she looks forward to most in my day. Claire is mainly focused on distance running and is currently completing her last college track season. In addition to running, Claire enjoys cross country skiing and road biking.
